Patients will still need to order their prescriptions either via POD (Prescription Order Direct- 01793 683755) or directly with their GP every time they are required.
Pharmacy First
The NHS Pharmacy First Scheme allows Pharmacists to offer expert guidance and recommend appropriate treatments including antibiotics for various common ailments, without the need for a prescription from a doctor.
To access this service our Pharmacist would need to do a face to face consultation at the pharmacy.
- Sinusitis (12 years and over)
- Sore throat (5 years and over)
- UTI- Uncomplicated Urinary Tract infections Women (16-64 years)
- Acute otitis media (1 to 17 years)
- Impetigo (1 year and over)
- Infected insect bites (1 year and over)
- Shingles (18 years and over)
